Job description

Seeking someone who can take initiative, servant leadership, comfort level with handling challenging behaviors and great relational skills.

Oversees the operations of the Friendship Club programming at the Tysons Campus and running of said program. Serve as a resource to church leaders as an inclusionary specialist in teens and adult ministries whenever assistance is needed with adapting or modifying programs. Manages recruitment and intake of incoming volunteers for Access ministry as well as coordinating training and orientation.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Oversee development of Friendship Club curriculum with modifications and adaptations for varying ability levels
  • Manage Access Friendship Club classroom space, oversee ordering of supplies and all materials

Conduct intake meetings with incoming families

Coordinate volunteer’s involvement in the ministry

Care for and disciple lead volunteers, equipping them for the ministry

Care for and disciple families in Friendship Club intentionally

Collaborate with Soul Sisters(FC ladies) and BibleBros(FC men)

Recruitment of new volunteers in collaboration with Access team

Onboarding new volunteers for all campuses

All other duties as assigned

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Minimum years of relevant experience: 2-3 years

License/Commission/Ordination: not required

  • Developing and implementing Access Friendship Club Sunday school program and Friendship Club socials & bible studies.
  • Provide support to Location pastor and staff on tactics for church to be more inclusive and accessible to all people.
Decision levels:
  • Own Initiative: assessing and monitoring Access family and volunteer care and discipleship

Refer to Manager: development and launching of all new programs or policy change or updates
