Oversees the operations of the Friendship Club programming at the Tysons Campus and running of said program. Serve as a resource to church leaders as an inclusionary specialist in teens and adult ministries whenever assistance is needed with adapting or modifying programs. Manages recruitment and intake of incoming volunteers for Access ministry as well as coordinating training and orientation.
Conduct intake meetings with incoming families
Coordinate volunteer’s involvement in the ministry
Care for and disciple lead volunteers, equipping them for the ministry
Care for and disciple families in Friendship Club intentionally
Collaborate with Soul Sisters(FC ladies) and BibleBros(FC men)
Recruitment of new volunteers in collaboration with Access team
Onboarding new volunteers for all campuses
All other duties as assigned
License/Commission/Ordination: not required
Knowledge: Disability awareness, management skills, ministry development
Flexibility for evenings/weekends
Computer applications: Microsoft Office, Outlook, and Ministry Platform (Level: Intermediate)
Communications: Public speaking, Writing, Small Groups, Counseling
Review/signature of MBC Statement of Faith
