NetCost Market in Brooklyn, NY is seeking a full-time Cashier/Picker to greet customers, process transactions, and maintain a clean checkout area. You will handle cash and card payments, stock relevant supplies, and assist with pricing and stocking to ensure a smooth customer experience.

The ideal candidate is at least 18 years old, able to lift up to 20 pounds, and capable of delivering friendly service while following store policies and procedures. Training will be provided.

• Ability to read, write and do simple math problems.
• Able to interpret, understand and follow instructions and solve problems.

Responsabilidades

• Open/close cash register procedures.
• Provide high level of customer service at checkout.
• Organize customers' purchase orders and process transactions.
• Scan items and collect payments (cash or card).
• Maintain accurate cash receipts and change funds.
• Assist with stocking, pricing, and store cleanliness.
• Maintain neat cashier stations and wear uniform and nametag.
• Assist with training new cashiers and share best practices.
• Greet customers and promote upsell opportunities as applicable.
• Handle returns/exchanges professionally and efficiently.
• Provide basic store and product information to customers.
