Job summary

Lowe's is seeking a cashier to provide a fast, friendly checkout experience and assist customers in-store. You will help customers get the best value, handle payments, and support store operations with a positive attitude.

Responsibilities include assisting in self-checkout, answering questions, and maintaining a clean workspace in a fast-paced retail environment. Prior retail experience is helpful, and bilingual skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• Reading, writing and basic arithmetic abilities required.
• Ability to stand and sit for prolonged periods.
• Experience using a computer for inputting, accessing, modifying data.
• Able to lift up to 75 pounds with team lifting when needed.
• Bilingual skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a fast, friendly, and professional checkout experience.
• Proactively assist customers in the self-checkout area.
• Scan and bag items accurately and efficiently.
• Manage a cash register, payments and exchanges.
• Answer customer questions.
• Help maintain a clean, safe workstation.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
