Job summary

Michaels in Albany-Clifton Park, NY is seeking a store associate to deliver friendly service, help customers find items, and ensure a fast checkout experience.

You will unload and stock merchandise, maintain planograms, participate in BOPIS/SFS, and assist with store recovery to keep shelves well‑stocked. Applicants must be 16+, able to stand long hours, including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Able to stand for long periods and move around the store.
• Must be at least 16 years old in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Help customers locate products and provide solutions.
• Operate checkout with cash handling to standards.
• Enroll customers in Rewards and Private Label Credit Card programs.
• Educate customers on the VOC survey.
• Assist with Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Assist with truck unloading, stocking and planograms (POGs).
• Maintain store recovery and in-stock shelves; complete returns/go-backs.
• Support shrink and safety programs and SOP compliance.
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production.
