Job summary

Lowe's in Van Buren, Arkansas is seeking a friendly cashier to provide quick, accurate checkout and assist customers with questions and returns. You’ll help customers find the best values and ensure they leave with a positive shopping experience.

This part-time role offers flexible schedules, health options, tuition assistance, a company‑matching 401(k) and an Associate Discount. You’ll work primarily at the register and may help in other departments as needed.

Qualifications

• Reading, writing, and performing basic arithmetic.
• Ability to stand and sit for prolonged periods.
• Experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information.
• Minimally lift 10lbs unassisted or over 15lbs with or without accommodation.
• Obtain sales-related licensure or registration if required by law in your state.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a fast, friendly, and professional checkout experience
• Proactively assist customers in the self-checkout area
• Scan and bag items accurately and efficiently
• Manage a cash register, payments, and exchanges
• Answer customer questions
