Job summary

Harps is seeking a part-time Cashier to process transactions accurately and provide friendly, proactive service. You will bag items, assist customers, and promote store services while following safety procedures.

The role emphasizes relationship building, professionalism, and a commitment to Harps’ mission of value, quality, and customer satisfaction. Applicants must be 16 or older, with flexible availability including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Must be at least sixteen (16) years of age.
• Experience operating a cash register is preferred but not required.
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays as needed.
• Ability to move, lift and place merchandise weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance.
• Stands or walks continuously for up to 4 hours.

Responsibilities

• Process transactions quickly and accurately following company guidelines.
• Bag and handle products safely, including separating meats and other items as needed.
• Identify customer needs and offer appropriate store services or solutions.
• Maintain safety and quality standards and adhere to all procedures.
• Build positive relationships with customers and coworkers to deliver friendly service.
