Love’s Travel Stops is seeking a courteous cashier to work in a fast-paced environment, providing accurate checkout services and friendly customer assistance.

You will help customers locate items, answer questions, and ensure proper handling of transactions and food safety for deli products. Training is provided; prior experience is not required. This role offers growth opportunities and a team-centered culture.

Qualifications

• On-the-job training provided; no prior experience required.
• General customer service duties including helping customers find items, answering questions about products and services, and addressing customer needs.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with finding items and answering questions about products and services.
• Balance a cash register by processing transactions accurately and offering related sales opportunities.
• Ensure proper handling and storage of fresh food and deli items to maintain safety standards.
• Maintain cleanliness of the working area, sales floor, restrooms, pumps, and surrounding facilities.
• Cross-train in other departments such as Restaurant Services, Fresh Kitchen, and Facility Maintenance.
• Ability to move, lift 25+ pounds and work in various temperatures.
