Most time is at the register, with occasional tasks in other departments, stocking, or assisting with payments and exchanges. If you enjoy solving problems in a fast-paced environment, this role may be right for you.

Qualifications

• Reading, writing and basic arithmetic skills.
• Ability to stand and sit for prolonged periods.
• Experience using a computer for inputting, accessing, modifying or outputting information.
• Single-lift limit up to 75 pounds; team lifts used as needed.
• Sales-related licensure or registration if required by state law.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a fast, friendly, and professional checkout experience.
• Proactively assist customers in the self-checkout area.
• Scan and bag items accurately and efficiently.
• Manage a cash register, payments, and exchanges.
• Answer customer questions and provide help as needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe workstation and follow safety guidelines.
• Complete other duties as assigned by store leadership.
