Job summary

GESMV is seeking a retail associate to assist with donation sorting, pricing, and customer service in our Ohio storefronts. You will greet customers, operate the cash register, and ensure merchandise is presented and stocked according to standards.

The role involves inspecting donated goods, handling textiles and furniture, and maintaining safe, clean store environments. A flexible schedule and ability to lift up to 50 pounds are required.

Qualifications

• Provide customer service in a friendly and professional manner.
• Experience in retail cashiering and handling shipping/receiving is preferred but not required.
• Must pass a criminal background check and random drug screens.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service in a friendly and professional manner.
• Greet customers and maintain a cheerful disposition while servicing customers.
• Operate cash register accurately and efficiently.
• Inspect donated items for saleability (textiles, furniture, appliances, etc.).
• Receive and handle donated goods from donors.
• Price merchandise according to prescribed criteria.
• Prepare textiles and goods for resale.
• Follow safety standards and dress code.
• Maintain records and reports as assigned (donations, deposits, cash drawer).
• Must work a flexible schedule and lift up to 50 pounds.
