Buddy's Burger in San Marcos is hiring a courteous Cashier to greet customers, process orders, and handle payments at the front counter or drive-thru. You'll maintain accuracy with cash handling, scan items, and provide receipts while delivering fast, friendly service.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, familiarity with Toast POS, strong math and multitasking skills, and excellent communication. We offer a flexible schedule, employee discounts, paid training, and overtime opportunities

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience with Toast POS systems is beneficial.
• Basic computer skills and Toast POS proficiency.
• Strong math skills and ability to multitask efficiently.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to resolve complaints effectively and maintain a positive atmosphere.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly when they enter and leave.
• Deliver fast, friendly service at the front counter/drive-thru window.
• Manage transactions accurately using a cash register and product scanner.
• Accept payments via cash, credit, or check and provide receipts.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the dining area and restrooms.
• Upsell and suggestive sell items to increase sale total.
