Job summary

The coach will develop athletes through fundamental skills, strategy, and physical training while modeling character development, responsibility, and perseverance. Ongoing professional development is encouraged.

Qualifications

• Must organize and supervise the total sports program.
• Must have prior successful coaching experience in the assigned major sport.
• The head coach must have substantial knowledge of the sport's technical aspects and stay current with new theories and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Instruct athletes in fundamental skills, strategy and physical training.
• Report to the athletic director with objective evaluations.
• Coordinate and supervise staff of high school and middle school coaches.
• Schedule transportation, tournaments, and practice times with facilities.
• Maintain equipment and safety procedures; ensure compliance with policies.
