Job summary

Whole Foods Market IP. L.P. seeks a team member for the seafood department to assist counter service, stocking, and sanitation. You will help maintain displays, signage, and pricing while providing courteous, friendly service to customers and Team Members.

This role supports seafood operations, helps with product prep, and participates in safety, health, and company initiatives in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Strong to excellent communication skills and willingness to work as part of a team.
• Ability to sell proactively and deliver customer service excellence.
• Ability to learn basic knowledge of all products carried in department.
• Ability to follow directions and maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety.

Responsibilities

• Ensures fresh and appealing display by checking quality and stocking cases.
• Maintains accurate department signage and pricing.
• Maintains back stock and a clean, safe working environment.
• Assists with sampling programs and keeps areas full and appealing.
• Skins, bones, and cooks or smokes fish; labels and dates cooked fish.
• Reports safety hazards and follow health, sanitation, and safety procedures.
