Job summary

Whole Foods Market in New York seeks a Produce Team Member to support receiving and prepping product, maintain the Produce floor and displays, and assist customers with a friendly, efficient service standard. You will break down deliveries, stock shelves, monitor freshness, and help uphold WFM's health and safety practices while providing outstanding customer experiences in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintains fresh and appealing displays by front-facing, stocking, and rotating products.
• Assists with organizing and displaying volume and seasonal items.
• Monitors spoilage and communicates waste to buyers and leads.
• Completes spoilage, temperature, and sweep worksheets as required.
• Assists with periodic inventory checks.
• Arrives on time and participates in required trainings and meetings.
• Provides excellent customer service and uses suggestive selling techniques.
• Maximizes sales through proper prepping, storing, and merchandising.
• Follows health, sanitation, and safety procedures.
• Maintains clean working and shopping environment and equipment.
• Performs opening, mid, and closing duties; checks pricing and signs.
