Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club is seeking a Produce Department team member to assist Members in the produce area, provide product knowledge, and maintain department cleanliness and stock levels.

Responsibilities include rotating and inspecting produce, ensuring freshness and quality, and supporting other departments as needed; the role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and delivering a positive member experience.

Qualifications

• Work experience in a produce department preferred.
• Knowledge of fruit and vegetables preferred, including seasonal items.
• At least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Provides assistance to Members in the produce department. Answers questions, recommends products and safe handling tips, and assists Members with finding products throughout the club.
• Inspects, rotates, and stores produce upon delivery. Ensures that all received produce meets standards.
• Rotates produce on the sales floor to ensure optimal freshness and variety. Keeps displays neat and clean.
