Job summary

Bonner Springs is seeking a Produce Clerk to create an outstanding customer experience through friendly service and product knowledge. You will rotate and merchandize produce, monitor freshness and maintain a clean, safe department that encourages customer return.

Responsibilities include greeting customers, working with seasonal produce, following store policies, and lifting up to 50 pounds. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service and communication required.
• Ability to greet customers and provide prompt courteous service.
• Knowledge of produce seasonality, use and taste is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Observe all store rules and company policies.
• Maintain neat appearance and observe dress regulations.
• Greet customers and provide prompt, courteous service.
• Know seasonality, use and taste of products offered.
• Observe shift hours as scheduled by department manager.
• Work in a cold environment.
• Display merchandise attractively and maintain sanitation in compliance with health regulations.
• Exert or lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
• Perform other duties as requested by management.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Prior work experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to work flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays as needed.
