Job summary

Fresh Thyme Market is seeking a friendly Produce Clerk to keep the Produce Department stocked and inviting, assist customers, and ensure pricing accuracy while upholding safety and sanitation standards.

You will rotate stock, manage back stock, participate in pre-inventory, and support a positive team environment. A high school diploma is required, with grocery experience preferred; ability to work varied hours is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Preferred 1-2 years grocery retail experience, preferably in produce.
• Ability to provide excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Keep produce department stocked and clean during business hours.
• Assist customers with purchases, product selection and information.
• Maintain accurate pricing, signage, and product rotation.
• Receive, inspect, and log incoming produce shipments.
• Help with pre-inventory preparation and back stock.
• Support and lead the cut fruit/vegetable program.
