Job summary

Food Lion seeks a Produce Associate to deliver fast, friendly customer service and maintain high standards in the Produce Department. You will learn and apply policies, assist with ordering and merchandising, and help ensure food safety and shop safety guidelines are followed.

Responsibilities include unloading trucks, using ACIS/CAO tools, and presenting products in accordance with company guidelines. Uniformed, punctual, and safety-minded applicants are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication and customer service skills.
• Ability and willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job.
• Ability to use technical information to solve problems.
• Must meet minimum age requirements to perform specific job functions.
• Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the position, with or without reasonable accommodations.

Responsibilities

• Provide fast, friendly, and accurate customer service in the Produce Department.
• Unload trucks and prepare/display merchandise per guidelines.
• Use tools like ACIS and CAO for inventory and ordering.
• Maintain safety guidelines and report accidents per procedures.
• Wear Foods Lion uniform and maintain a neat appearance.
• Complete CBT, training packets, and training aids.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
