Job summary

Pure Flavor Farms LP is seeking a General Labor – Packer to ensure top-quality produce is packed, labeled correctly, and meets food safety and customer standards. The role supports the supply chain by achieving productivity targets and maintaining efficient operations.

The position operates in a refrigerated warehouse (45-55°F) and requires the ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds. Prior experience is not required but a basic understanding of GMPs and food safety is preferred.

Qualifications

• Secondary school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• No previous experience required; general understanding of packhouse operations preferred.
• Knowledge of GMPs, Health and Safety, Food Safety preferred.
• Able to work independently and in a team.
• Able to stand, walk, lift up to 50 pounds, and work in a refrigerated environment.

Responsibilities

• Visually inspect and handle fresh vegetables; grade by ripening stages, sizes, and classification and package per customer specification.
• Inspect produce and packaging for foreign object control; report issues to authority.
• Handle produce carefully to prevent bruising; meet quality, food safety and packing standards.
• Communicate with Production Supervisor; report quality issues, damage, shortages.
• Clean and sanitize food contact surfaces and machines; maintain a clean work area; report damages.
• Comply with SOPs, GMPs, Food Safety, Health and Safety and company policies; ensure standards are met.
• Other core expectations as defined by the company.
