The role requires strong customer service, the ability to learn produce types, and readiness to work afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods in a fast-paced setting.
• Willing to transfer to other store locations within a reasonable commute.

Responsibilities

• Customer Service: Smile, greet, and assist customers courteously.
• Merchandising: Stock, trim, rotate, and replenish produce items to ensure freshness and quality.
• Operations: Load, transport, and organize produce merchandise from coolers, storage, wet rack, and sales floor.
• Product Handling: Handle produce items carefully to prevent waste and damage; report poor quality immediately.
• Compliance & Safety: Follow company and health regulations; promote Vallarta’s Safety Program and report unsafe acts or conditions.
• Sanitation: Clean produce displays, equipment, and supplies; sweep and mop floors.
• Teamwork: Assist coworkers, support merchandising plans approved by management, and communicate with supervisors.
• Other Duties: Perform additional tasks as assigned to support department goals.
