Meijer is seeking a Produce Team Member to ensure customers have access to fresh, high-quality fruits and vegetables while delivering friendly, knowledgeable service. The role focuses on product preparation, merchandising, and maintaining a clean, safe department.

You will greet customers, stock and merchandise produce, prepare items, and help keep displays attractive. This position offers growth opportunities within a family-oriented company.

Responsabilités

• Provide excellent service by greeting customers and offering product suggestions.
• Stock, rotate, and merchandise produce for freshness and visual appeal.
• Prepare cut fruit and ready-to-sell products following food safety standards.
• Monitor product quality and remove items not meeting freshness guidelines.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area including coolers and displays.
• Follow safety, sanitation, and equipment handling procedures.
• Assist with inventory counts, backroom organization, and deliveries.
• Support department goals with merchandising plans and seasonal displays.
• Communicate effectively with team members and leaders for smooth daily operations.
• Perform additional tasks to support store needs.
