Job summary

Town & Country Markets is seeking an entry-level Produce Associate in Shoreline, WA who loves food and delivering friendly, professional customer service. This role is ideal for team players who enjoy working with a diverse group of coworkers and guests in a busy market.

You will participate in all day-to-day Produce duties, including product prep, display rotation, quality checks, labeling and price integrity, equipment operation, and strict adherence to food safety/HACCP standards.

Qualifications

• Produce/Food Service experience preferred.
• Excellent professional customer service.
• Strong knife skills and cooking knowledge.
• Ability to operate all required equipment.
• Flexibility to work mornings/afternoons/evenings/weekends/holidays.
• Exemplifies health department standards.
• Ability to work with a diverse group of customers and employees.

A TYPICAL DAY WILL INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING . .

• Participates in product production and presentation in the Fresh Prep area

• Operates all equipment in accordance with operating standards
• Adheres to all company policies
• Adheres to all food safety/HACCP/sanitation requirements
• Adheres to proper waste management and recycling procedures
• Maintains department cleanliness, product freshness, & variety
• Maintains retail price, integrity, and accuracy
• May be required to participate and work in the core Produce Department as needed
• Other duties as needed or required

Entry Level Compensation

USD $18.40/Hr.

Maximum Compensation

USD $26.85/Hr.
