Location: We are seeking a Cashier for the Music City Center located in Nashville, TN.

The Music City Center is Nashville's convention center located in the heart of downtown. The 2.1 million square foot facility opened in 2013 and was built to host large, city-wide conventions. Its mission is to generate economic benefits for Nashville by attracting local and national events, focusing on community inclusion, sustainability, and exceptional customer service.

Principal Function

The Cashier is responsible for providing exceptional service at points of sale, assisting guests in a sporting or events area, or within retail food and beverage stands and kiosks. Service styles may include take-away, cafeteria, restaurant, or in-seat service.

The top priority is to ensure Sodexo Live!'s standards for handling cash and credit transactions are consistently met.

Essential Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding service to all quick-serve customers.
• Adhere to policies and procedures for processing sales transactions.
• Maintain quality and safety standards.

Qualifications/Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• TIPS or TEAM training or equivalent.
• Of age to serve alcoholic beverages, per state requirements.
• Ability to understand and implement written and verbal instructions.
• Strong team orientation and ability to collaborate across departments.
• Basic math skills for transactions.
• Proficiency with POS systems and digital registers.
• Excellent guest service skills and ability to connect with customers.
• Flexible scheduling to meet operational needs.

Other Requirements

• Ability to work safely in wet floors, temperature extremes, and noisy environments; lift up to 50 pounds; navigate tight spaces.
