Job summary

H-E-B is seeking a Perishable Representative in Fort Worth, TX. You will maintain a well-stocked department, prepare and merchandise fresh products, and deliver superior customer service while upholding food safety standards.

Responsibilities include assisting customers, taking orders, and supporting various counters (meat, fish, floral) as needed. Prior experience in retail food service is beneficial.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED (or equivalent) required.
• Completion of Company Orientation and Safety Training.
• 18+ age requirement.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Experience with basic computer systems (Telxon, ACR, label machine).

Responsibilities

• Provide superior customer service and assist customers with selections.
• Prepare, package, and merchandise fresh products daily.
• Maintain food safety and sanitation standards in the department.
• Merchandise products, rotate stock, and assist in department tasks.
• Answer questions and take orders by phone or in person.
• Support floral, fish, and meat sections as needed.
