Job summary

H-E-B in Tomball, TX is seeking a Perishable Representative to keep the department well-stocked, clean, and safe while delivering excellent customer service. You will prepare, package, and merchandise fresh products daily, and uphold all food safety standards.

Responsibilities include assisting customers, taking orders, and contributing to department sales through suggestive selling. You may rotate between Aguas, Floral, Market, Produce, and Seafood areas as needed.

Qualifications

• Customer service and communication skills are required.
• Ability to prepare, package, and merchandise fresh products.
• Knowledge of store departments and food safety standards.
• Strong teamwork and multitasking abilities.
• Willingness to work in a fast paced retail environment.
• Completion of Company Orientation and Safety Training.

Responsibilities

• Provide superior customer service to shoppers.
• Take orders from customers by phone or in person and assist selections.
• Prepare, package, and merchandise fresh products daily.
• Maintain display cases and product rotation; ensure sanitation standards.
• Support department tasks across Aguas, Floral, Market, Produce and Seafood.
