Job summary

Food Lion seeks a dedicated team member to provide quality customer service in the Perishable Department. You will help maintain standard practices, maximize sales through friendly service, and minimize shrink through proper utilization of procedures.

You will handle deliveries, stock meat and related products, and ensure proper labeling and cleanliness. Adherence to safety guidelines and company policies is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication and customer service skills.
• Ability and willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job.

Responsibilities

• Maintain enthusiastic customer awareness with fast, friendly, and accurate service.
• Use company tools such as ACIS and CAO for operations.
• Receive deliveries, stock and rotate perishable items; ensure proper display and labeling.
• Maintain product levels in meat, dairy, frozen, and related sections; follow safety guidelines.
