Eataly is seeking a Fresh Pasta Artisan & Salesperson to staff at least two retail stations, sharing knowledge about products and ingredients with guests and guiding portions. The role reports to the Fresh Market Manager and focuses on guest engagement and product expertise.

The candidate assists daily operations, ensures stock, and maintains display integrity while interacting with guests, staff, vendors and visitors to deliver an exceptional shopping experience.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in food service.
• Strong knowledge of steps of service.
• Great communication and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of Italian products.

Responsabilités

• Assists the retail counters with daily operations as needed to ensure counters are running smoothly.
• Ensures retail supplies are in stock and being utilized properly at all stations.
• Stocks counter and display refrigerators neatly, accurately and in a timely manner.
• Slices, weighs, labels, displays, sells and packages products per department standards and guest specifications.
• Manages transfers between departments to ensure accurate inventory levels and Cost of Goods Sold (COGS).
• Provides a steady presence on the floor, constantly interacting with guests, employees, vendors and visitors.
• Performs other duties as required or assigned.
