Job summary

Eataly North America is seeking a Fresh Pasta Artisan & Salesperson to leverage expertise across multiple retail stations, sharing product knowledge with guests and guiding portions and recommendations. This role reports to the Fresh Market Manager and supports daily operations at busy counters.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in food service, strong service steps knowledge, excellent communication, and familiarity with Italian products.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in food service.
• Strong knowledge of steps of service.
• Great communication and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of Italian products.

Responsibilities

• Assists the retail counters with daily operations as needed to ensure counters are running smoothly.
• Ensures retail supplies are in stock and being utilized properly at all stations.
• Stocks counter and display refrigerators neatly, accurately and in a timely manner.
• Slices, weighs, labels, displays, sells and packages products per department standards and guest specifications.
• Manages transfers between departments to ensure accurate inventory levels and Cost of Goods Sold (COGS).
• Provides a steady presence on the floor, constantly interacting with guests, employees, vendors and visitors.
• Performs other duties as required or assigned
