The Kroger in Murfreesboro, TN is hiring for a Meat Department Team Member to perform clean-up, stock work, and customer service.

You will greet customers, assist with food preparation, monitor temperature, ensure freshness, and follow safety and company policies while collaborating with team members in a fast-paced retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Wait on customers promptly and cheerfully; greet customers and provide quality food.
• Be prompt, tactful, calm, courteous, and professional in all interactions.
• Communicate effectively with customers and associates.
• Maintain clean, neat, and friendly impressions for customers.
• Unload and store merchandise; prepare and display foods per standards, recipes, and policies.
• Perform required temperature monitoring.
• Monitor product quality; ensure freshness and safety.
• Keep sales areas, backrooms, and coolers clean and organized.
• Maintain floors clean and free of clutter.
• Wash and sanitize cookware and utensils as per policies.
• Maintain signage, rotation, freshness, quantity, quality, and space for merchandise.
• Maintain equipment and facilities safely per policies.
• Follow company policies, procedures, and laws.
• Operate cash register per procedures; in applicable roles.
• Work cooperatively in high-paced and sometimes stressful environments.
• Manage conflict calmly and cooperatively.
