Job summary

Kroger Family of Companies in Kentucky’s Meat department is seeking a team member to assist in stocking, food preparation, and customer service. You will greet customers, handle transactions, and maintain clean, safe, and well-organized meat counters.

Responsibilities include temperature monitoring, product quality checks, and adhering to company policies and health regulations while working in a high-paced environment. Minimum weekend/holiday availability is expected.

Qualifications

• Demonstrates strong written and verbal communication to engage customers and associates.
• Able to read shelf tags, signs, product labels, training materials, and bulletins.
• Ability to multitask and set priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Works well with all levels of the organization and takes initiative.

Responsibilities

• Wait on customers promptly and greet them with good quality food.
• Provide courteous, professional service and maintain a friendly impression.
• Unload and store merchandise; prepare and display foods per standards.
• Monitor temperatures and ensure product quality and safety.
• Keep sales areas, backrooms and coolers clean and organized.
• Operate cash register per company procedures.
