BJ’s Wholesale Club, Inc. is seeking an team member for the Meat Department in Port Saint Lucie, FL.

You will receive, rotate, wrap, and merchandise fresh and processed meats, assist Members with questions, and help maintain cleanliness and safety standards within the department. Responsibilities include stocking, labeling, and assisting the meat cutter with packaging, with regular shifts and a focus on delivering high-quality service.

Formación

• Previous experience working with fresh and processed meats preferred.
• Knowledge of automatic/hand wrapping machines preferred.
• Prior experience working in a meat and/or deli department preferred.
• At least 18 years of age.

Responsabilidades

• Provides assistance to Members by answering questions regarding meats, poultry, and seafood.
• Makes recommendations on food products when necessary.
• Weighs, packages, wraps, and labels cuts of meat, poultry, and seafood.
• Assists the meat cutter in packaging freshly cut meats and seafood.
• May grind hamburger meat.
• Inspects and stores meat upon delivery.
• Ensures meat and seafood cases are stocked and rotated according to expiration dates.
• Cleans and sanitizes equipment and display areas in the meat department.
