Job summary

Meijer Inc. in Illinois is seeking a meat department team member to assist in daily cutting of fresh beef, pork and grind. You will help write fresh meat orders, organize deliveries and maintain a positive rapport with customers and coworkers.

This role requires familiarity with weights and measurements in meat processing, safety and sanitation procedures, and experience with inventory control and CAO software. A current handjack/hilo license is expected.

• Familiarity with weights and measure processes specific to meat processing.
• Ability to understand and follow specific safety and sanitation procedures.
• Experience in product presentation and packaging.
• Experience using Computer Assisted Ordering applications.
• Current handjack/hilo license.
• Experience with inventory control procedures.
