Job summary

Sam's Club in Danville, VA is seeking a Team Member to assist with prepared foods, rotisserie chicken, and bakery orders, following recipes, wrapping, labeling, and storing merchandise to keep our members fed with fresh items.

You’ll work with cross-functional teams, maintain clean shelves, monitor temperatures and expiration dates, and help customers with their orders, delivering friendly, efficient service.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must successfully complete all job required trainings and assessments within a prescribed time period.
• Preferred Qualifications: Food Service Food Handler Certification (Food Safety) – Certification.

Responsibilities

• Be a Team Member: maintain up-to-date knowledge of product specs for prepared foods; collaborate with cross-functional teams; educate associates on tools and resources.
• Be an Expert: prepare food according to item specs; plan future productions and mass productions; ensure food safety standards and sanitation guidelines.
• Be a Techie: use digital tools to drive sales and improve the shopping experience; use handheld tech for decision-making and training.
