Job summary

Sam's Club in Waterloo, IA is seeking a Team Member for prepared foods and rotisserie items. You will follow recipes, ensure fresh product availability, wrap, label and store merchandise, and help members with bakery orders to create a great shopping experience.

You will maintain clean, safe displays, assist with temperature control, and support inventory and shrink controls while delivering friendly service to members.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Experience with fresh foods preferred
• Customer-service mindset and ability to multitask

Responsibilities

• Be a Team Member: maintain up-to-date knowledge of prepared foods, assist cross-functional teams, educate coworkers, and stay flexible to business needs.
• Be an Expert: prepare items to specifications, plan for production and seasonality, ensure food safety, sanitation, cold chain, and inventory control.
• Be a Techie: use handheld devices to support sales and quality decisions, learn new tools, and engage with members.
• Be an Owner: drive area performance, stock and rotate products, manage waste, and meet date control standards.
