Job summary

Citarella in Greenwich, CT is seeking a Fresh Juice Production Associate to prepare, produce, and QC fresh juices daily, following established recipes and food safety standards. You will operate juicing and blending equipment, monitor quality, and help develop new juice recipes while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and teamwork in a fast-paced production environment.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in high-volume food or beverage production, preferably fresh juice production.
• Food Handler Certification preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and efficiently.
• Ability to follow written recipes and production procedures accurately.

Responsibilities

• Prepare fresh fruit and vegetable juices according to established recipes and production schedules.
• Follow standardized recipes to ensure consistent flavor, texture, color, and quality.
• Set up, operate, monitor, and maintain juicing, mixing, blending, and processing equipment.
• Monitor gauges, thermometers, and production equipment to ensure products are processed within required specifications.
• Inspect, taste, and evaluate products throughout production to ensure quality standards are met.
• Maintain strict food safety, sanitation, and HACCP procedures throughout all stages of production.
• Clean and sanitize equipment, tools, and workstations to maintain a safe and organized production environment.
• Assist with the development, testing, and implementation of new juice recipes and seasonal offerings.
