Job summary

UDF-MyScoop Branding in Cincinnati, OH is seeking a Fresh Inventory Lead to manage inbound/outbound inventory, schedule deliveries, and maintain accurate MRP records for the Blue Ash Facility. Requires 2 years of warehousing/inventory experience, forklift/pallet jack operation, and strict adherence to allergen and safety standards.

You will collaborate with management to resolve inventory issues in a fast-paced food production environment.

Qualifications

• 2 years’ experience in warehousing and inventory management.
• Ability to operate forklift and pallet jack.
• Knowledge of MRP systems and inventory processes.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Schedules delivery of all Purchase Orders at the Blue Ash Facility.
• Receives all shipments to the Blue Ash Facility.
• Restocks and manages Inventory for the Blue Ash Facility.
• Operates forklift and pallet jack in the warehouse.
• Adheres to health & safety policies and allergen/food storage standards.
• Moves trucks for loadout and operates yard tractor for trailers.
• Stages raw ingredients for next production day within the plant.
• Maintains 5S standard across warehousing areas.
• Works with the MRP system for commissary/bakery ordering, receiving and inventory.
• Problems solve and communicate inventory issues with management.
• All other duties as assigned.

Job description

The Fresh Inventory Lead ensures that all ingredients and wholesale products are scheduled for delivery, received, inventoried, and managed through the MRP system.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Schedules delivery of all Purchase Orders at the Blue Ash Facility.
• Receives all shipments to the Blue Ash Facility.
• Responsible for restocking and managing Inventory for the Blue Ash Facility.
• Operates forklift in and around the warehouse.
• Operates hand/ electric pallet jack in and around the warehouse.
• Adhere to health & safety policies and quality standards as it pertains to allergens and food/ ingredient storage.
• Moves trucks as needed for loadout; and operates yard tractor to move trailers.
• Stages raw ingredients for next days production runs within the plant.
• Keeps all warehousing areas clean and at a 5S standard.
• Works proficiently in the MRP system and understands all functions pertaining to Commissary/ Bakery ordering, receiving, and inventory processes.
• Can problem solve and communicate inventory issues with management team.
• All other duties as assigned.

Education/Experience: 2 years’ experience in warehousing and inventory management.

Interpersonal Ability: Ability to effectively communicate and receive directive from management and complete tasks by utilizing your team for successful outcomes.

Organizational Ability: Ability to organize your own workload and to ensure inventory and ingredient stock levels are maintained.

Reasoning Ability: Ability to solve problems and deal with a variety of variables within the warehouse using knowledge of policy and SOPs to mediate through situations that may arise.

Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Word; Microsoft Excel and Sage X3.
