Job summary

Whole Foods Market is seeking a Team Member to support the Prepared Foods team with preparation, counter service, sanitation, and stocking of products. You will engage customers with friendly service, follow SOPs, and contribute to store initiatives while keeping a clean, safe, and organized department.

Responsibilities include preparing a variety of foods, sampling products to customers, and maintaining accurate signage and temperatures.

Qualifications

• Must be able to learn and perform duties across hot and cold foods prep, service, and stocking.
• Strong customer service and teamwork mindset.
• Good communication and the ability to follow procedures and schedules.

Responsibilities

• Cut, prepare, and serve a variety of hot and cold foods (meats, cheeses, sandwiches, burritos, wraps, salad, pizza).
• Sample products to customers and assist with counter service.
• Stock cases and displays with prepared foods from kitchen and walk-in prep.
• Check in-stock dates for freshness and rotate stock as needed.
• Assist with inventory checks and cleanliness/sanitation of work areas.
