Job summary

Whole Foods Market in Scottsdale, AZ is hiring as a Team Member in Prepared Foods. You will assist with preparation, counter service, sanitation, and stocking, while delivering friendly and efficient service to customers and Team Members.

No prior retail experience required. You must be able to lift 50 pounds, work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends, and uphold health and safety standards. The wage range begins at $16.00 per hour, up to $25.40 per hour, with Whole Benefits offered.

Responsibilities

• Cuts, prepares, and serves hot and cold foods including sandwiches, burritos, wraps, salads, and pizza.
• Samples products to customers.
• Stocks hot and cold cases and displays with prepared foods.
• Checks in-stock dates for freshness and rotates items.
• Assists Team Leader with inventory and seasonal item displays.
• Provides excellent customer service and supports suggestive selling.
• Maintains a clean and sanitary work area and follows health and safety regulations.
• Performs opening, mid, and closing duties and reports safety hazards.
