Job summary

Whole Foods Market in Lake Oswego, OR is seeking a team member to support Prepared Foods through cooking, counter service, sanitation, and stocking. You will engage with customers, follow SOPs, and contribute to a positive store image while upholding health and safety standards.

Responsibilities include preparing hot and cold foods, sampling, maintaining displays, ensuring product freshness, and assisting with inventory.

Qualifications

• No prior retail experience required.

Responsibilities

• Cuts, prepares, and serves a variety of hot and cold foods.
• Samples products to customers.
• Stocks hot and cold cases and displays with prepared foods.
• Checks in-stock product dates to ensure freshness.
• Assists Team Leader in organizing and displaying volume and seasonal items.
• Completes spoilage, sampling, temperature, and sweep worksheets as required.
• Assists with periodic inventory checks.
• Provides excellent customer service and uses suggestive selling techniques.
• Maximizes sales through proper prepping, storing, rotating, stocking, and merchandising.
• Follows health, sanitation, and safety procedures.
