Job summary

Meijer in Ohio is seeking a friendly Food Clerk to create a fresh, welcoming store experience in our Fresh departments. You will help customers, share product knowledge, stock and display items, and use technology to complete tasks accurately.

You’ll work in a fast-paced environment, maintain safety standards, and support other departments as needed. Prior retail experience is helpful but not required; training is provided.

Responsibilities

• Stock, rotate, and merchandise product according to standards.

• Follow food safety, sanitation, and quality procedures.
• Work across departments including Meat, Seafood, Bakery, Deli, Produce and Grocery.
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly.
