Job summary

Meijer is seeking a Food Clerk who will deliver outstanding customer service, share product knowledge, and assist with merchandising in the Fresh departments. You will engage with customers, keep displays fresh, and work across departments to ensure a welcoming store environment.

The role emphasizes a customer-first mindset, strong communication, and the ability to stay organized in a fast-paced setting. Prior retail or food service experience is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Follow food safety, sanitation, and quality procedures.
• Work across departments including Meats, Seafood, Bakery, Deli, Produce and Grocery.
