Meijer Great Lakes is seeking a friendly Food Clerk to join their team. You will contribute to a fresh, welcoming store experience in the Fresh departments and engage customers with product knowledge and helpful service.

The role requires weekend and evening availability and physical activity to stock and merchandise. Ideal candidates enjoy interacting with customers and thrive in a fast-paced retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Build positive connections with customers and teammates.
• Share product knowledge and help customers find what they need.
• Maintain full, fresh, and visually appealing product displays.
• Stock, rotate, and merchandise product according to standards.
• Use technology to complete tasks efficiently and accurately.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and quality procedures.
• Work across departments including Meat, Seafood, Bakery, Deli, Produce and Grocery.
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly.
• Every shift, your work helps keep our store running smoothly and our customers coming back.
