Job summary

Meijer is seeking a Food Clerk to help create a fresh, welcoming store experience across Fresh departments. You will build positive connections with customers, share product knowledge, and keep displays vibrant and accurate.

You’ll stock and rotate products, use technology to complete tasks, follow safety procedures, and support multiple departments including Meat, Seafood, Bakery, Deli, Produce and Grocery. Prior retail or food service experience helps but isn’t required.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience and strong communication are essential.
• Ability to collaborate with teammates and support multiple departments.
• Attention to detail and the ability to follow processes and safety rules.
• Physical stamina to stand, lift, and move for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Deliver excellent customer service with product knowledge and friendly attitude.
• Stock, rotate, and merchandise products to keep displays appealing.
• Maintain fresh, safe, and organized departments across Meat, Seafood, Bakery, Deli, Produce, and Grocery.
• Use technology to complete tasks accurately and efficiently and follow safety procedures.
