Job summary

Meijer Inc. is seeking a Food Clerk to deliver exceptional customer service, maintain fresh displays, and assist customers across multiple departments in a fast‑paced setting. You will use store technology to complete tasks accurately and help keep the store running smoothly.

Great candidates are friendly, dependable, and comfortable learning new systems. Prior retail or food service experience is helpful but not required, and this role keeps you active while serving families and the community.

Responsibilities

• Build positive connections with customers and teammates.
• Share product knowledge and help customers find what they need.
• Maintain full, fresh, and visually appealing product displays.
• Stock, rotate, and merchandise product according to standards.
• Use technology to complete tasks efficiently and accurately.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and quality procedures.
• Work across departments including Meat, Seafood, Bakery, Deli, Produce and Grocery.
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly.
