Job summary

Meijer Great Lakes is seeking a friendly Food Clerk to help customers, maintain appealing displays, and support daily store operations in our Springfield location. You will share product knowledge, assist shoppers across departments, and follow safety procedures to ensure quality experiences.

Prior retail exposure is helpful but not required, with opportunities for growth and training. Join a family company that values service, community, and development programs, including education assistance

Responsibilities

Build positive connections with customers and teammates.
Share product knowledge and help customers find what they need.
Maintain full, fresh, and visually appealing product displays.
Stock, rotate, and merchandise products according to standards.
Use technology to complete tasks efficiently and accurately.
Follow food safety, sanitation, and quality procedures.
Work across Meat, Seafood, Bakery, Deli, Produce and Grocery departments.
Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly.
