Job summary

H-E-B is seeking a Food Service Specialist to keep the department well-stocked and organized while delivering outstanding customer service. You will prepare, package, and merchandise fresh products daily, ensuring food safety standards and sanitation across departments, including Bakery, Deli, and Prepared Foods.

You may specialize in Tortilleria production areas. Responsibilities include assisting customers, handling orders, and maintaining high product quality.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED or equivalent is required.
• 1+ years of experience in a similar role is required.
• Completion of food safety and sanitation training, and training on equipment operation, cleaning, maintenance is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide superior customer service and assist customers with questions and selections.
• Prepare, package, and merchandise fresh products daily while maintaining quality and safety standards.
• Operate in bakery, deli, and prepared foods areas as needed and assist with setup, cooking, and decorating.
• Ensure clean, sanitary display cases and proper equipment operation.
• Assist in inventory management and participate in training other Partners.
