H-E-B in Plano, TX is seeking a Food Service Representative to maintain a well-stocked, clean department and deliver exceptional customer service. You will prepare, package, and merchandise fresh products daily while upholding food safety standards.

You will assist in Bakery, Deli, and Prepared Foods with production, inventory, and catering orders as needed, using the store systems for ordering and production planning. Good communication and teamwork are essential.

Responsabilités

• Provides superior customer service
• Takes orders from customers by telephone or in person
• Answers customer questions regarding products; assists them with selections
• Prepares, packages, and merchandises fresh product effectively
• Slices, packages, labels, rotates, and culls products for poor quality
• Assists in technical areas as needed (e.g., basic set-up and clean-up processes)
• Uses suggestive selling techniques and basic product knowledge to meet customer needs and build department sales
• Cleans and sanitizes display cases
• Operates / maintains equipment properly
• Complies with H-E-B food safety and sanitation standards
• Complies with department / Store operating procedures
• Records production and shrink to aid in production planning
• Assists in technical areas in Bakery (baking, frying, decorating)
• Culls bakery products for poor quality, expiration dates
• Takes care of service counter Customers in Deli
• Uses ordering system applications
• Uses Fresh Production Planner
• Performs inventory management processes (MSI, PAW) as required
• Ensures catering orders are prepared and ready for Customer pickup
• Performs sanitation and maintenance tasks for Deli slicers
• Serves / packages products at customer's request
• Educates customers on preparation / reheating instructions of prepared foods
• Prepackages condiments for prepared food items
• Cuts, slices, dices, chops, food prep for chef
