Job summary

Ontario Trillium Foundation seeks a detail-oriented team member for our grocery service operations. You will ensure clean, safe work areas, stock and present products, and assist customers with selections and information.

The role involves rotating stock, logging shipments, and maintaining accurate pricing and tags while following health and safety guidelines. Flexibility to work varied hours and support cross-functional teams is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency.
• Preferred 1–2 years grocery retail experience.
• Experience in a natural foods industry is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of food service areas and workspaces for safety.
• Stock and organize product displays per department schematics.
• Check product rotation and discard expired items.
• Assist customers with purchases and product selection.
• Inspect and log shipments for temperature and quality.
• Monitor signage and promotional materials.
• Operate equipment including knives, scales, wrappers, and pallet jacks.
• Prepare food service items using correct ingredients and times.
• Weigh and label products accurately.
• Aid in back stock and tag accuracy.
• Maintain product knowledge and department cleanliness.
• Flexibility to work varied hours.
• Other duties as assigned.
