Job summary

Meijer in Wisconsin is seeking a Food Clerk to provide friendly, knowledgeable service in our Fresh departments. You will engage customers, help them find products, and maintain attractive displays while using a POS system to complete tasks accurately.

You will support multiple departments, ensure food safety standards, and work with teammates in a fast-paced store. Prior retail or food service experience helps but isn’t required.

Responsibilities

• Build positive connections with customers and teammates.
• Share product knowledge and help customers find what they need.
• Maintain full, fresh, and visually appealing product displays.
• Stock, rotate, and merchandise product according to standards.
• Use technology to complete tasks efficiently and accurately.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and quality procedures.
• Work across departments including Meat, Seafood, Bakery, Deli, Produce and Grocery.
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly.
