Job summary

Meijer is seeking a part-time Food Clerk to deliver outstanding customer service in our Fresh departments. You will engage with customers, share product knowledge, and help locate items while maintaining clean, attractive displays and adhering to food safety standards.

You’ll stock and rotate items, work with multiple departments, and use store technology to complete tasks efficiently. Prioritize safety, accuracy, and a friendly team-focused approach on every shift.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Build positive connections with customers and teammates.
• Share product knowledge and help customers find what they need.
• Maintain full, fresh, visually appealing product displays.
• Stock, rotate, and merchandise product according to standards.
• Use technology to complete tasks efficiently and accurately.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and quality procedures.
• Work across departments including Meat, Seafood, Bakery, Deli, Produce and Grocery.
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly.
