Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market is hiring a Deli Clerk to assist customers, prepare fresh meals, and maintain a clean, well-presented deli area. You will handle product rotation, special orders, and operate deli equipment safely.

The role requires a friendly, reliable team member who can work a flexible schedule, lift up to 70 lbs, and comply with safety and Weights & Measures regulations. Training provided, with opportunities for growth within the department.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent and grocery/restaurant experience.
• Dependable, reliable, and able to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Strong customer interaction skills, positive attitude, and teamwork orientation.
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and stand for up to 8 hours per shift.
• Able to follow safety, health, and Weights & Measures regulations and obtain a Food Handlers permit.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in choosing healthy options and prepare fresh meals.
• Maintain deli cleanliness and proper product presentation.
• Rotate, fill, and display deli products; prepare special orders and party trays.
• Operate deli equipment safely and according to standards.
• Receive and inspect shipments for quality and temperature.
